- Acids react with alkali produces salt and water only.
- This is called a neutralisation reaction.

Example:
Ethanoic Acid + Sodium Hydroxide
CH3COOH + NaOH → CH3COONa + H2O
Hydrochloric Acid + Ammonia Solution
HCl + NH3 → NH4Cl
